Tomok is a small village at Samosir Island, Lake Toba, Sumatra, Indonesia. It is a one hour walk from Tuk-tuk. There are some beautiful traditional Batak houses to be found at Tomok. This is the place where the car's ferry from Ajibata (near Parapat) stops.
Furthermore, at Tomok you can find the grave of former king Sidabutar. Together with all the souvenir stalls, this tomb / sarcophagus is the main attraction of Tomok.
King Sidabutar's tomb and his wife's
On the way up, through a corridor of souvenir shops, you will find a few stone coffins, all belonging to the family of the former king Sidabutar. Please be so kind to put some rupiahs in the tip box.

There are also some musical performances in the traditional village (Huta), close to the souvenir shops.
At the end of the path through the souvenir shops, there is also a small footpath leading up to the mountain. It will take you approximately 2 hours to get to the top. You will have a magnificent view on Lake Toba and Tuk-tuk. Don't forget to bring your camera. You will probably be asked to drink some coffee at one of the few houses you will find there. Give them a little tip.
